Looking for some direction, my 43x trigger bites my finger enough that I can't shoot more than 10 rounds without getting a sore or blood blister. I've changed the trigger bar and shoe from a OEM Glock to a Apex straight and have filed down the sharp corners, still bite me. I couldn't but help overhear a conversation (at my LGS) someone saying that the Glock 43X (perhaps Glocks in general) when brand new should be "broken in" by firing at least 350 rounds (Yikes!) of BALL ammo before being reliable enough for loading with "Personal Defense type Ammo". 43x Problems I just bought a 43x and with less than 30 rounds put through it, it struggles to extract the casing. I had 2 instances where the extractor would hold the casing and the only way it would come out is by forcing it out. After about 400 rounds into shooting it, it would start to do exactly what you describe. Pull trigger, boom, slide cycles, ejects old case, feeds new case and chambers it. Trigger stays completely back. Then it started doing it about every 50 rounds or so.

I am worried that the finish on my G43 slide wont be as nice as a new G43X. 3. The front slide serrations are not there. I really like the look of them on the G43X. 4. The G43 slide is not beveled so it wont match the new G43X frame I'm getting.

BUT it will swell the top of the mag just enough that it puts pressure on the mag release making it not work right and not hold the mag in either. Who knew! 🤷🏻‍♂️.
