This means scavs within 150m will know exactly where you are. Judging from all the posts about "super scavs", my guess is it's still a thing.At least the higher end ammo. Your gun isn't new, and neither is your ammo. Everything in tarkov is scavenged, so even your 100 durability gun came already used by someone. Ammo unless properly stored can easily become unreliable, and we're finding most of our ammo sitting out in the weather in cardboard boxes lmao.

So unless it's a better option than your fists, you wouldn't want the barrel to be involved in any bludgeoning.
