From what I can gather those two OCs are really what you need for it to work and for the most part the lead storm mods are personal preference, except the last tier.

As a general rule of thumb, your **Heavy Pistol** should be your "Primary" weapon. You should always keep it out, so you can quickly take out few grunts, or ranged bugs. However, don't bother with many bugs, since of your limited ammo count. And also don't waste your **Minigun** ammo on solo targets, or small groups (<7) like grunts, lootbugs, etc.
