There were two main problems from the beginning that you can read about on lots of old reviews and comments under them. The main problem was the failure to return to battery. I have put several rounds thru this fine handgun using the stock 6 round flush magazines with no problems, always shoots great. I purchased some 7 round factory extended magazines so the gun will fit better in my hand. The magazine release button has a profiled protrude, let's say a cam, that should be polished. It is pretty easy to disassemble a button, but I don't recommend you to do it if you don't know how to put it back. There is a small compressing spring inside in the button. The assembly procedure requests special technics.I’ve ran the 102 grain Golden Sabre in my Micro 380 before. No problems there. I switched to the Hornady Custom with the XTP bullet as from testing it penetrates and expands the best. Ammo Quest has a video on YouTube off all the 380’s tested.
