My Glock 42 has been flawless out of the box. Glock is the only pistol brand I have never had to send back and I have had many. Ruger SR1911 and LCP 2, Smith & Wesson M&P Sheild and Sheild Plus, Dan Wesson Valor, and Springfield Range Officer have all had to be sent back for one reason or another. Some with minor issues and some not so minor.

The LC380 is essentially a Ruger LC9 that's been converted from 9mm to .380 ACP. It's a hair bigger than the Glock 42, but looks like a giant next to it's little brother, the Ruger LCP. When you move up from an LCP to something the size of a Glock 42, .380 can be a real pleasure to shoot. The P365 is virtually the same length and height as the Glock 42. The grip is about a tenth of an inch wider. In 9mm, the original P365 is a handful. It's not horrible to shoot for 50 or 100 rounds, but it is objectively a snappy gun.
