And the best settings I found for me so far are, suvivors spawn rate at the lowest. 5% or 0% chance of spawning with guns (because there is always a guy with a shotgun making noise at 2 in the morning attracting zeds). Just started a new save using Superb Survivors for the first time. Right away, I could tell there were way too many survivors on default settings. I had two NPCs on the same street as me and they scoured the houses down to nothing. Not sure how they're able to carry all that stuff. I started setting up a base in a nearby self storage facility.
