I have scoured the internet and I cannot find one concise recommendation for differential oil weight. I have a 97, 4.0, 5 speed manual, Dana 30 with air locker and an 8.8 with LSD. I have 35" BFG KOs on 15x8 wheels. I have read I can use anywhere from 75W90 up to 85W140 conventional oil with an additive for the LSD.The fluid looked good, as did the gearing and locker.) The days of 20w-50 for engines and 75w-140 for gears are long gone. Oils are so superior nowadays don't be afraid to use lighter grades if thats whats called for. The extended drain program and any extended warranty program are separate programs. Note: For specifi c detail on Dana extended warranty programs refer to the Dana Warranty Guide or call 1-877-777-5360.
